Strawberry Pie, Me Oh My

Just wanted to share a successful new recipe I pinned.

You've got to try this strawberry pie recipe 

from Jamie Cooks It Up.

  I dunno about you, but the first things I look for in a recipe is a small list of ingredients.

I'm not one of those fancy cooks with a huge pantry, despite my culinary arts certificate.

Good food shouldn't have to be complicated, don't you agree?

The only addition I made to Jamie's fantastic recipe was 

a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to make it last a little longer.

I used a really basic pie crust recipe as well, just butter, flour, salt and water.

Anyhow, it turned out really great!

The fresh strawberries were the star ingredient.

The only thing I might try next time is cutting the strawberries a bit.
